Privacy Policy
Privacy policy
This policy explains what information Hive & Veil collects when you visit, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
What we collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name or address unless you choose to email us. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics record standard technical information when you visit: your approximate location from your IP address, the pages you view, the site or search that referred you, and the type of device and browser you use. We use this only to understand which guides are useful and to keep the site working.
Cookies and analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. These set a small number of cookies or similar identifiers. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without losing access to any guide on this site.
Advertising
If we add advertising in the future, ad partners may use cookies to show relevant ads and measure performance, and we will update this policy and provide a consent choice where the law requires one before any such cookies are set.
Third parties
We link out to sources such as university extensions and government agencies. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this policy does not cover them. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. Since the only personal information we hold is what you send us by email, you can exercise these rights by writing to hello@hiveandveil.com and we will respond.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change, for example when advertising or new features are added. The latest version always lives at this address.
